less than a 2 min walk from the entrance to Shin-Nihonbashi station (covered by JR pass and only 1 stop from Tokyo station), the location was just excellent, especially since we were travelling with 2 young kids. this station also had underground links to the Mitsukoshimae station less than 3 mins walk away (Ginza line). there was a family mart and pharmacy just across the road which made it easy to pick up food at odd hours. the apartment (superior family room) was so clean and reasonably spacious for our kids (4 and 7 years). the bunk bed was quite high but our 7 year old enjoyed climbing up and down. it helped that it was carpeted around the room. sheets were all very clean. pillows were a little thin but did not break the stay. heating and cooling worked perfectly. while they did not have disposable amenities such as toothbrushes, razors etc inside the room, they are readily available at the front counter for free should you have required them (we didn’t and thought it was a good idea not to be wasting resources!). they had big bottles of the essentials, such as shampoo, soap and conditioner and that was our most helpful amenity! a kettle came in handy which I loved. and for those who want to cook, they also have a rice cooker, some pots and pans and other essential utensils available in their kitchenette with an induction cooktop (we didn’t cook so can’t comment more). do take note that there aren’t coffee and tea provided but the vending machine right outside the apartment was our preferred anyway! there are abundant plug points with some usb points. just require your travel adaptors. TV comes with internet so you can access YouTube etc. kids enjoyed that the most I think. There is a washer/dryer but just be aware it is all in Japanese. I used Google translate for this which worked fine. just be sure the tap to the washing machine is turned on (face down) because the machine didn’t wash for me the first night due to this issue.

The MONday Apart hotel was absolutely phenomenal! My family and I stayed here for 2 nights on our arrival into Tokyo before heading to Kyoto. To make our lives easier we took a cab from HND airport bc of our luggage. We had two rooms and checking in was very easy. The rooms were incredibly pristine and spacious. The location is also convenient for accessing the subway which we took to Akihabara, and Chiyoda ward. There are so many restaurants nearby and since we are in the Nihonbashi district (known for business) finding places to eat late at night was not an issue. We found that to be harder later during our trip and stay in Kyoto. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and would do so again during our next visit. A note for smokers - don’t lose hope! There is a public smoking room between Tokinokane and Honshirogane Dori (Street). When you exit the hotel, just walk straight through that alley, keep going pass the parking lot. When you hit the alley parallel to the lot, take a right. You’ll see another alley on your left before you hit the Main Street. It’s hidden but there’s a vending machine right outside the door and the suits (business men) will keep going in and out of it. Good luck!

We came back to Tokyo and stayed at Monday Premium Apartment Nihonbashi again after travelling to Fujikyu and Lake Kawaguchiko. The location of the apartment is very good; 130m to Shin Nihombashi JR station (2minute walk), 280m to Mitsukoshimae Metro Station (4mins walk) and 450m Kanda JR station (7min walk). There are some restaurants, multiple 7 11 and Family Mart nearby. Coredo and Mitsukoshi department stores are just around the corner. Our room was a perfect size to accommodate a family of 4. Another reason, we picked Monday Premium Apart Nihonbashi was because of the washing machine and dryer available inside the apartment. The hotel also provides us a microwave, small oven, cooking utensils, plates and cuttleries. The service is second to none. The receptionists were very helpful and professional. They also helped us keeping our luggages while we were away to Mount Fuji and helped us sending some of our luggages to the other hotel using Yamato service.

Excellent value for a family in a great location. The apartment was the most spacious place we rented on our 17 day trip to Japan. It had lots of space for a family of four and was very well designed. The washer/dryer was a nice bonus. The apartment is only 1-8 minutes from three different subway lines (Akihabara, Tokyo Station, and the fish market were all just one stop away). The apartment was also willing to store our bags on our last day so that we could explore without luggage. While this unit is not super close to anything in particular, we loved it as it was relatively close to everything we wanted to see. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Tokyo.

Great place to stay if you need more space than in a standard Tokyo business hotel. Great location - close to underground and train, Tokyo Station within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants and bars around Kanda station. Our room was very large, with a dining table and kitchenette. Bathroom was also large with washing machine. Everything new and super clean. Comfortable beds. Perfect for family with children. It's not a typical hotel so the have no breakfasts, but there are plenty of places and shops in the area where you can eat or buy something for breakfast. Highly recommended!
